Tour Plan

Day 01 Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

We will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Fez and begin the journey south. Explore Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco,” with its parks, lakes, and Alpine-style houses. Continue through the Cedar Forest in the Middle Atlas, home to Barbary macaque monkeys. Stop for lunch in Midelt, famous for its orchards and as Morocco’s leading apple producer. Drive through the scenic Ziz Valley and palm oases, arriving in Erfoud, the gateway to the Sahara Desert, renowned for its fossils and dates. Continue to the desert, where you will have dinner and overnight in a hotel or riad.

Day 02 Desert – Nomadic Villages – Khamlia

Wake up early to watch the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. Explore off-road desert tracks used in the Paris–Dakar Rally, visit nomadic families, and experience their customs and traditions. Visit Khamlia village, enjoy traditional Berber music and drum rhythms, and continue to the Mifiss mines. At sunset, ride dromedaries into the desert and arrive at a traditional Berber camp. Enjoy a Berber dinner and evening music under the stars.

Day 03 Desert – Fez

After breakfast, begin the journey back to Fez. Enjoy the desert landscapes, Ziz Valley, and palm oases one last time before being dropped off at your hotel or riad. End of tour services.
